A Bridgerton themed Christmas party at The British Museum for 750 guests

We were delighted to be part of the British Museum’s annual Christmas Party, held in the magnificent Great Court. Tasked with delivering a Bridgerton-inspired dessert and cocktail station to complement catering from another supplier, we fully embraced the grandeur of the regency era.

With 750 guests in attendance, we transformed the space into a scene worthy of Lady Whistledown’s finest gossip column. Our team, dressed in bespoke regency-style uniforms, presented a feast for the senses: ornate banqueting-style fruit displays, elegantly dressed cakes, and hundreds of intricately hand-made lace cake pops.

To enhance the experience, all desserts were served on vintage tea stands, mirrors, and bespoke canapé platters, creating a truly opulent aesthetic.
The result was an unforgettable and enchanting evening that captured the spirit of the Bridgerton theme, delighting guests with a spectacular celebration. It was to be the most splendid social gathering of the season.

"When asked if we would tender to cater for such a special part of the British Museum’s Bridgerton-themed Christmas party, we jumped at the chance, especially as we are huge fans of the show. I set about writing my best Lady Whistledown society paper as part of our proposals and was honoured to be part of such a memorable event! Although the team are a little upset with me that I managed to escape the fancy-dress uniform!"

– Jay Burgesson-Carter, Founder of The Ripe Avocado

What the client said:

“We have received so many compliments today, especially about the food – the pears were a big hit!”
