Hammersmith & Fulham Community Sports Awards at Sands End Arts & Community Centre

This event, organised by Evolve Events and Hammersmith & Fulham Council, celebrated the local community at Sands End Arts & Community Centre (SEACC) in Fulham. It marked the 11th biennial Hammersmith & Fulham Community Sports Awards, recognising the efforts of individuals, groups, and organisations in making sports and physical activity accessible to everyone. Awards such as Volunteer of the Year and Inclusive Project of the Year highlighted initiatives empowering disadvantaged groups, including disabled individuals and BAME communities. With 200 guests in attendance, the event featured a fully inclusive menu catering to all age groups and multicultural backgrounds, including a waste-free guacamole station where the chillies used were repurposed into house-made chilli oil gifted to clients. A drag queen front-of-house team further emphasised the event’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Live-made guacamole with tajin, tequila, fermented homemade chilli oil and guacamole garnishes, served with yellow and blue maize corn chips

Confit pulled Suffolk chicken wrap, oji sauce, red pepper (halal)
